Tavoliere Bombadier - "Cosmo"
Welcome to Cosmo's page. He is out of Tavoliere
Texas and Moon River. Cosmo was born on the 21st July 1998.
Unfortunately when he was 6 months old he was diagnosed with
Hip Dysplasia. Sadly, this cannot be cured or corrected with
surgery because he has really bad arthritis already. The good
news, however, is that with a good natural, home-made diet
and lots of Vitamin C, amongst other things, he is really doing
very well. And most days you wouldn't think there was much
wrong with him at all. He also goes swimming once a week at
a hydrotherapy pool to make sure that his muscles don't waste
due to lack of exercise - obviously he's not allowed much because
of the pressure on his hips.

Cosmo is the sweetest, kind-hearted dog I have
ever known. He can be stubborn sometimes when he can't be bothered
to do something, but even when he is like this he is still sooo loveable.
Newfies have very different temperaments to Bernese. They are far
less energetic, and much more lazy. Cosmo was the first of hopefully
many Newfoundlands, I love them dearly.
